At Brandt Beef, our family has been raising cattle in Southern California for over three generations. Through our farm to fork operation, we’re able to control every step of the process, enabling us to consistently produce the highest quality, 100% source verified, natural meat in the market.

We raise, feed, and focus on Holstein steers, never outsourcing or contracting farmers beyond our property lines. Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, we’re able to track a range of metrics, such as tenderness and marbling, and process all of our products in our local processing facility. This unparalleled commitment to consistency in care, diet, and location ensures the same delicious products year after year.

We continue to lead the industry today so that we not only provide the best beef on the market, but we’re actively working to positively impact the future of ranching. That means feeding our cattle corn for over 300 days and never any hormones or beta-agonists. We ensure that our products are free of antibiotics and as pure as possible, because that’s what we want for our own family, and yours.
SUSTAINABILITY THAT MAKES AN IMPACT
Brandt Beef is committed to humane and sustainable raising practices. Our cattle’s feed is grown on 600 acres of land adjacent to where they are raised, and the cattle are processed just 14 miles down the road. These practices not only reduce Brandt Beef’s carbon footprint, but also reduce stress on the cattle, who ride in a truck for mere minutes rather than hours. More of Brandt Beef’s sustainability efforts include:
- Releasing ladybugs on our fields to naturally combat aphids
- Producing compost from our cattle to enrich the land in lieu of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides
- Employing irrigation methods that attract native birds to eliminate unwanted insects
These efforts earned Brandt Beef the CARE Certification from Where Food Comes From®, which recognizes recipients based on three pillars: animal husbandry, environmental stewardship, and people & community.

Our products underwent 120 independent tests, such as blind tasting alongside competitive brands, ultimately receiving the distinctive Seal of Excellence from the Master Chef’s Institute. Today, we are one of only a few producers to achieve this level of recognition for our quality.
